Thrivent Action Teams

Thrivent Action Teams make it easy for your clients to bring a volunteer team together. We provide a kit filled with items so they can make an impact on the places they live, work and worship by organizing a fundraiser, education event or service project.1

Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity

Thousands of Thrivent members are coming together to help people live generously and change lives. With program funding, volunteers help construct or repair homes across the globe. Since 2005, Thrivent and its members have committed $226 million to the program. This is your client's chance to make an impact in their community, in other states, or another country.1 As of December 31, 2016.

Thrivent Choice®

This program gives eligible members an opportunity to recommend how Thrivent distributes some of its charitable outreach funds each year. Since 2010, $330 million has gone to help churches, educational institutions and other nonprofit organizations through charitable grants.1 As of December 31, 2016.

Disaster Response

When disaster strikes, people need money for food, shelter and getting back on their feet. Thrivent works at the national, regional and local level, making it easy to contribute.

Spreading Hope Through Generosity™


Thrivent Independent can help bring a new experience to our business partners, one that allows us to share Thrivent Financial's story. With a mission focus on generosity, we couldn't pass up an opportunity to do that for our partners as well. Here are some of the events we've sponsored in the past with our Spreading Hope Through Generosity™ Program to allow our partners to see what Thrivent is all about.

Clearwater, Florida

A food and school supplies drive that benefitted HEP (Homelessness Empowerment Program).

Ft. Wayne, Indiana

An all-female team of volunteers helped build a home for a family within the community through Habitat for Humanity.

Bozeman, Montana

Employees conducted a food drive for a local food bank, and helped prepare and serve food at a Community Cafe that allowed customers to pay only what they could.

Ft. Wayne, Indiana

Collected over 1,500 lbs. of food to help supply the children's backpack program at a local food bank and spent the afternoon beautifying a local park.

Bozeman, Montana

Joined forces with Gallatin Valley Land Trust to trim branches, lay gravel and clean up nature trails.

Clearwater, Florida

Partnered together to make an impact, volunteers gathered for a week to build a house in the Clearwater area.
